He is a stem cell biologist with over 30 years of experience, formerly leading the Stem Cells Laboratory at the University of New South Wales. Renowned for translating science into clinical applications, he developed patient-specific induced pluripotent stem cells and differentiated them into neurons for potential neurodegenerative therapies. His work has earned multiple honors, including a national research award (1981) and the Pioneer in Medicine award from SBMT USA (2014).

For the past 11 years, he has been with Trivitron Healthcare, currently serving as Senior Vice President overseeing Business Operations, Marketing, Communications and Special Projects. He has played a key role in enhancing the company's brand and driving growth through integrated marketing strategies, operational efficiency and customer-focused initiatives, with a strong track record in strategic execution, budget optimization and delivering measurable outcomes.
An accomplished, award winning leader and entrepreneur in medical diagnostics, Ms Veena Kohli has a proven track record of leading global businesses, setting up companies and nurturing talent into senior management positions. With 35 years of experience, she has led global teams encompassing the entire value chain of capabilities – from R&D, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, to marketing and business management, both domestic and global.
